From Rock to Real Estate

Building a home made to last in the harsh Canadian environment requires both experience and skill. Having built in northern and southern Canada, Chapel Rock combined with Winchester Builders has mastered the technique of constructing homes that will withstand the elements. Our long-term relationships with local trades and suppliers ensure consistent quality, excellent service, and fair pricing.

Monterra on Cochrane Lakes

In 2019, Monterra on Cochrane Lakes returned to the market after languishing for years. Enright Capital acquired the distressed project in 2018 and hired Paul Bergmann and Chapel Rock Developments in 2019 to revive it.

Chapel Rock verified engineering, created lot pricing, developed a sales center, assembled a builder team, and led marketing efforts. They engaged local realtors and served as the main contact for existing homeowners. Over six months, they successfully completed these tasks, before COVID halted the rollout.

Key actions included reviewing BSEI Engineering Drawings, addressing infrastructure issues with Civiltech Engineering, and upgrading landscaping plans by hiring LA West. Chapel Rock collaborated with Enright Capital on pricing and conducted extensive outreach to 75 home builders, ultimately selecting several key builders for the project.

They then hired a marketing team and met with 60 local realtors to create excitement leading up to the public launch in February 2020.

Despite the early momentum, COVID delayed the project. Enright Capital had to step back temporarily; however, the project is now back on track!
